October is the best opportunity for Bow Hunters to Score on the Huge Trophy Whitetail Bucks. Archery hunting in October for Trophy Whitetails is excellent for many reasons. There are millions of acres of paper company land and roads open for general hunting use for you to put up your own tree stand or hunt from natural blinds. In October the deer have yet to feel any hunting pressure nor has the daylight savings time started so bucks are still hanging together around feral.

General use for deer hunting is allowed on millions of acres of Paper Company Land.

Having a minimum amount of hunting pressure this far North and heavy cover has allowed our deer to reach maturity for larger racks and heavy bodies with many dressing well over 200 pounds. Whether the hunt you're looking for is an out-of-the-way place for the aggressive of heart or the comfort and camaraderie of a family owned lodge, we will direct you to active areas and go over maps to ensure you have and understanding of our vast woods.

John and Gloria live here year round and have extensive knowledge on the local game activity and therefore most of the scouting work is done for you at no extra cost to their guests. To such an extent, that in most cases no guide is necessary, although they are available when needed. The Homestead Lodge is your place to bow hunt.

Whitetail Deer Archery Hunt Includes Meals & Lodging	Cost - $550 per week*
Fully Guided Baited Bear Hunt Includes Meals, Lodging, guaranteed active stand, guide and transportaion. Choose from the following: Aug. 27 Arrival/Sept. 3 Departure Sep. 3 Arrival (after 3pm)/Sep. 10 Departure Sep. 10 Arrival (after 3pm)/Sep. 17 Departure Sep. 17 Arrival (after 3pm)/Sep. 24 Departure	Cost - $1,300 per week*

*Week means 6 day hunts (Sunday through Saturday). Deposit of 50% is non-refundable. Personal checks accepted for reservations only. Balance due (plus state taxes) upon arrival by cash, certified check or travelers check only.
